Prof. Ganz Presents at International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference (CSUN) 2016

In March 2016 Prof. Ganz presented a paper at the International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference (CSUN) in San Diego, CA. She introduced novel research that includes a Unity based virtual reality game that enables blind and visually impaired (BVI) users to explore a virtual environment that mimics a physical environment (e.g. a subway station). Such exploration will help BVI users build a mental map of the environment , facilitating their wayfinding in the physical environment.
